How to Tie a Shoe

by NHSA Editor

My son has learned to spell his name and tie his shoes because of the other children in his classroom are able to do alot of things that that he cannot do. I found that he has learned alot from being in Head Start because of the things that I as a professional could not get him to learn at home. I am grateful for Head Start and my young son will follow in his big brother's footsteps.

Sincerely,

Larry Daniels

""Learning to tie my shoes and tell time were the hardest things I ever had to do (next to the multiplication tables). I could've used a Head Start. My grandpa taught me how to tie my shoes, and my dad taught me to tell time. Now I wear high heels and use a digital watch, but if I ever need to go back to the old ways, I know how. I am so glad your son had Head Start. What a great program." Added 12 July 2006 by Beth Kane "
