I am the youngest in a family of nine. Because of my large family I was able to attend Head Start, though none of my siblings did.
I was always interested in doing well in school and that could be attributed to my Head Start. I remember being introduced to some different foods and new kids, but that's about it. After I recieved My AA I had the opportunity to volunteer in a Head Start in Kentucky to see what the program was offering to kids there and it was still a very well run program that helps kids have good food and a jump on the things that they will be doing in Kindegarten.
