We are foster parents and many of the kids who come through the system get there start at Head Start. We have 2 girls right now (sisters) one seven and one four.
The four year old is at Head Start and is ready for kindergarten. I feel this is in large part to the help and love she has received through this program. She bounced around a lot before landing at our house and I feel the stability of being able to continue to go to Head Start the majority of the time has kept her from falling through the cracks academically. She is a wonderful little girl and deserves a wonderful start to her education. I truly hope that future generations will also be so lucky.
