Sometimes, we’re the
first place children learn about how different they can be – and how that’s
really OK. At Head Start, we know that a girl can be a skilled mechanic, just
as a boy can be a caring nurse.
So when a girl plays
with sockets and wrenches, that’s OK. And if a boy plays with dolls, that’s OK
too. At Head Start, children become who they can be.
