  I used to see Matthew Lesko ads all the time in DC.  He seemed like a funny guy; someone I'd really get along with.  I just read about him on his website (www.lesko.com) - after returning from Vietnam, he earned a master's in computer science and started his first business as a mangement consultant.  Then one day he had the idea of publishing contact information for federal programs that offer money and services to taxpayers.  If you haven't seen them, these are the subjects of his TV ads.  "FREE MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT!!!", he screams, "GET MONEY TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!"  I never knew whether or not to believe him, but my friend Lindsay met him in DC this summer and asked him if it was for real.  He said it was all true.  And I figure you wouldn't wear your TV clothes in public if you weren't a man of your word. So this past Halloween, I decided to dress up like the crazy guy with the crazy suit.  Here's a picture:   Then, last week, Tom called me and said, "Guess who I met!  He's a celebrity . . what celebrity would you like to meet?" I guessed, "The Rock?" He said, "No, Matthew Lesko!" HAHAHAHA!!!! I was thrilled.  Tom said he was wearing a white suit with orange question marks.  Tom asked Matthew for his card, which I've scanned in here (some info obscured to protect his privacy). He also said I should write to him.  Rather than send a plain-jane email, I figured I'd make this portrait to show him.
