Favorite Memory of attending “Brooklyn Poly”: The closely limit group of Chemists working so hard (and long hours) for Prof. Charles. What a great Chemistry-based education I got! Six publications came out of my research at Poly. Career Highlights: At Prof. Charles suggestion I visited a small growing pharmaceutical Company-Pfizer Inc. I went to spend my entire 41 year career with Pfizer – 29 years in the Chemical Lab and 12 in Senior Management. I discovered a major drug product for arthritis – called Feldone – which was a major product in the 1980’s. Family Highlights: Married to Roberta Meyer, whom I met at Pfizer, in 1960. Three children – Dr. Anna-Marie, Anthony (PhD, Rockefeller, Union) and George (MBA, NYU Stern School) Hobbies, Current Activities, and Interests: Consultant to small biotechs; still travel widely; enjoying all the offerings of New York City; cooking (its like chemistry) Special Message to Classmates: I trust you feel as I do:
