Awarded the ASCE Rickey medal in recognition of contribution to “Civil Engineering Guidelines for Planning and Designing Hydroelectric Developments” in 1990. Hobbies, Current Activities, and Interests: Volunteer Crew member on Liberty ship SS Jeremiah O’Brien, San Francisco. Licensed US Merchant Marine officer.
