June 18, 2005 Pomeranians in McCarren Park, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I took these for my friend Rachel, who is a maniac for Pomeranians. She had recently moved from NY to Pittsburgh, and I knew she missed the city and all the dogs she used to come across.

May 13, 2007 Some Brooklyn artist has been making yarn spiderwebs in public places. This picture is from McCarren Park on yet another kickball Sunday. When I took this picture and looked at it on my camera's little screen, the dog seemed to be a photo shoot veteran; he even lifted his paw to look extra cute. Then I zoomed in and noticed his expression: murderous rage. I'm bigger, so I kept the photo.

May 25, 2002 This dog has an Italian name that translated to "Little Thief." These were taken at the rowboat pond at Central Park. There's a video clip of "Little Thief" swimming at the bottom.
